This Hagen family migrated in
two separate small groups from Oslo, Norway. Two of the children
left in 1872, and went to Milwaukee, Wisconsin, and the remaining four
(parents and two children) left Norway in 1874, and went to Monroe County,
Wisconsin. Erick and Randi and their family ultimately settled in Pope County,
Minnesota. The majority of the Hagens
in this line stayed either in this area of Minnesota, or migrated to North
Dakota.
