front, man holding baby: probably Henry Roberts, son of Thomas & Emily Jane (McCormick) Roberts;
to the right of Henry: probably his wife, Attie (McBride) Roberts;
the baby: likely their daughter, India Ethel Roberts, born 1897;
standing behind Attie: Adolphus Smith

other notes: Henry and Attie lived in Baker township of Martin County, Indiana and both died of tuberculosis (Henry in 1901). Their daughter, India Ethel, was raised by the McBrides after the Attie's death (prior to 1901).

Other information:
Otho was basically raised by his great uncle Moses Smith and Moses' wife Meg (Roberts) Smith, who was a sister of Mary Jane (Roberts) Fields, daughter of Thomas Roberts and Emily Jane McCormick.

note: submitter has a photo of Thomas and Emily, and would be willing to share.
